When I saw the future the geeks were right.

I got new shoes today. They're from Sportsgirl. They're cute, comfortable and conveniently casual- all in one.

Hope you're having a good weekend.

Float with noise

When I think of neutral colours I think timeless, classic.  Until recently I automatically thought dressing in neutrals also mean boring. But neutral clothes are anything but blah. Now I'm all about dressing mono-chromatically. I think it's a look anyone can most definitely pull off. It's so flexible, and there's no rules really.

I've been seeing a lot of fashion savvy girls mixing and matching different shades of neutral colours. Think back to Alexa Chung last month at the Burberry S/S 2011 show in London.

Here are a few of my favs.

-Photo Stockholm Street style
-Top Shop shorts
-Willow Blouse
-Crystal Necklace
-Reed Krakoff Suede Tote
-Chloe Wallet
-Chanel Nail polish- Khaki Brun
-Asos
-YSL ring

Blank. You're blank.

Oh, how today was rainy. Didn't really matter much because I was staying in doors most of the day anyway. I set tasks for myself to get a few things done. Mainly design work and basically just trying to get things rolling for the new year. Realistically the new year is only 2 months away...and I want to be prepared! Prepared for whatever 2011 decides to throw at me. Anyone else feel like this year just flew by?

I found absolutely nothing Op-shopping today. What a freaking waste of time. Everyone has totally demolished all the Op-shops around my area. I didn't find one single gem.

I am loving all the positive feedback about my blog lately! Shoot me an email, Facebook comment etc if there are things you want me to write about more, things I haven't written about...This blog is for you guys, so what you guys have to says matters. Ha, I totally just sounded like a parent telling their kid that they matter and have a purpose and they are a "somebody".

So, tell me your ideas!!!!!

Acacia Swimwear

Yesterday the world was shocked with the sudden death of three time surfing world champion Andy Irons. It so happens,  yesterday I was looking at Acacia Swimwear- A range that Lyndie Irons (Andy Iron's wife) Is a co-designer for.

There are a lot of fun designs! Acacia Swimwear is for "the cute and classy, but daring girl who isn't afraid to stand out"... I think that is because the bottoms are itsy, bitsy, teeny-weeny. But it's summer, so who cares. If you're confident, nothing else should matter! Plus your tan lines would be next to nothing!

I'm currently on the search for a couple of bikinis for summer... I am doing my research this year. I want the cutest and the best ones ever! I don't want to buy the first one I try on. I have found one so far. A cute black One Teaspoon one, but I'm still yet to buy it. I hope I can get my hands on the 'kini from the fifth photo. I love the cut and I have an on-going obsession with army green. I think that one could carry me through days in the sun!

Check out Acacia's website or blog or their Facebook page. You can see behind the scene shots of their 2011 campaign on their blog.

My heart goes out to Lyndie Irons in this hard time. May Andy Irons Rest In Peace.

Deaf chords, Dead ends

I know I am normally all about stand out or darker nail polish....But Bloom make a really, really nice nude polish. Two coats and you're done. Doesn't take a thousand, what a relief. Anyone want to suggest some colours for me to try? I really want to find a khaki colour nail polish. I've seen the Chanel one, but has anyone seen any other brands catching on yet?

I didn't get a chance to post yesterday (Sorry). How was your Melbourne Cup? Win any money? I didn't. Though I did make money. So I guess that still counts. I did a fashion show at a place in Brisbane, with a couple of other models. It was fun. We drank Moet and ate oysters. And that was my day in a nutshell.

I am In love with the idea that summer is only four weeks away. It's basically here in Queensland if the rain holds off. I bought these shorts the other day. Everything about them says summer. This summer I am going to try and wear all types of materials. I am usually a denim shorts girl, but this year I'm mixing it up.

Today, I have been trying to keep myself busy with some projects I kind of/really want to get rolling. I found myself downloading Gossip Girl for the first time too. So, my projects were thrown somewhere in the background while I ate some lunch and watched Gossip Girl. Does it take a while to get into it girls? I didn't find myself absolutely loving it. But, nonetheless I did download the second episode...I'll hang in there.

Tomorrow, I think I'll go Op-shopping. I am having serious withdrawals. I'm a bit jealous of my sister. She went a couple of days ago down the coast and she seriously sounds like she struck a goldmine. Her list was endless. Lucky she's the same size as me!

It is good we never met

Easy D.I.Y job?

First step find some old bullet shells. Shouldn't be too hard right?
