thunderclaps

(Photos taken by me of my new Soy Chai Latte candles)

I just had a picnic in my NEW lounge room with two of my pals. One of them was Harri the designer for "Soy Chai Latte" - who you saw me do a post on Friday. She bought over our delivery. One was the gorgeous leopard print candle, which will live on my desk so I can burn it and smell the deliciousness whilst working and oogling all the online shops I love. The other is the set of four vintage gold cups - which is identical to a set Jonathan's mother owned. Even without them burning they smell so good!

Thanks miss candle haz for your delivery!

it's future rust.

Yesterday I met up with Liss from Daydream Lily and Jaz from Fizzle out. They are the loveliest girls!! We wandered around The Village Markets and had a coffee at a cute little cafe called Commune. I had never been there before - but now that I have been I'll definitely be back. Their coffee was delicious and the atmosphere was not Gold Coast at all. It's nice to discover cafes like this up here. Most places are just chain stores and the coffee usually tastes like dirt or burnt milk. So thanks girls for introducing me to a great little spot in Burleigh! I promise next time I won't keep you waiting. Hehe.

Hope you all had a great weekend.

SUNDAY

05/06/2011

I took this on the drive home from Cabarita ( N.S.W North Coast). The sky and sunsets have been mesmerizing lately.

Stay tuned on The Village Markets blog - I am doing a guest post on it!

soy chai latte

One of my Best buds Harri has just started a vintage teacup candle business "Soy Chai Latte". She popped her market cherry last Sunday at the brand new Miami Designer Markets. Her products are all carefully hand sourced vintage tea cups and saucers, vintage glasses and other cute vintage ceramics. Harri then transforms them into delicious smelling soy candles.

We took these photos last Sunday! Isn't her set up adorable? Go check out Soy Chai Latte on Facebook here, or if you're a Gold Coast local, head down to the Miami Designer Markets at Miami High on the end Sunday of every month!

I have a few candles ready to be picked up next week! Can not wait to decorate my new place with them!

PS: Three post out of free wi-fi! Can't complain! But now it's all gone :(

Apartment!

Our new views. The sunsets are absolutely AMAZING!

stay with me

So here I am scamming Wi-Fi from the coffee shop down the street. Our stupid internet provider has decided that they're gonna make us wait for our connection at our new place. Jerks. But I don't mind having to go to the coffee shop and blogging - When there's coffee involved everything is okay!

So if you follow me on twitter or Facebook you would know that I had a little bit of a snip-snip recently! I went from mid back length hair to mid neck length hair! There's no looking back, I love it! Still getting used to not having to use so much product and I still don't know what to do with all the extra time I have when I get ready in the morning! What used to be a chore ( doing my hair) is now a lot of fun!

So what's the verdict? Do you dig the new hurrrr?
