Just a quick post to let you know i am gonna do an outfit post today! Wish the weekend would go for longer!

Gloom

What a gloomy, gloomy day.  It's raining today so i wasn't motivated to take any photos, nor was i motivated to do much else than work. If i could have walked around with a doona and my bed i would have. I love rain, but i hate the fuzzy hair that comes with it. Also: I stepped in a puddle which i swear was invisible... well until i felt that my foot was wet. It made me think that i should invest in some gum boots.

I have had the lyrics of "Singin' in the rain" in my head since early this morning- Purely because it was raining outside. With those lyrics in my head, i then started to think of the movie "Singin' in the rain", which is an American comedy musical film . Who knows how my mind works, especially on gloomy days (this story will make sense soon enough). Anyway a long story short- My post will be on Debbie Reynolds, who stars in "singing in the rain"...So i came about it in a round about way!

I'm basically just posting photos. Debbie was an image of the all-American girl,  so beautiful and so classy. I like seeing photos from decades ago, where the women are showing natural beauty and smiling was the thing to do it photos. I think that more photographers should portray this type of beauty in their work.

What remains.

Winter is closing in on us, yet i still find myself buying winter clothes. I'm not too sure why, considering i live in one of the hottest states in Australia. I love the leather shirt trend. I found two vintage ones the other day, which make me love the trend even more. Leather is like a formal version of denim. You can wear it with anything and you automatically have an edge to your outfit. It is so versatile! Leather is definitely my fabric of choice at the moment, whether it is velvety suede or supple leather i just love it. I think it's 'cos i can wear it day or night. I fell in love at RAFW with the soft suedes and natural leathers which Lisa Ho, Gary Bigeni and Dion Lee showcased. Since then i have wanted to get my hands on the "perfect leather shirt". Stay tuned to see my vintage finds! I think you should definitely get on board with this statement trend!

Jumpsuit- Vintage Belt-Vintage

Apparently i have a thing for tiger print as well as leopard print. I didn't realise until just now. There's nothing wrong with a bit of animal print. I know not many people like animal print. And if they do they will only wear a small amount of it. But i happen to love this vintage play-suit/ jump-suit/ call-it-what-you-want-suit. I like the all over print- and i am game enough to wear it. This is one of the many items i picked up from Niki B's vintage store. If you haven't already read my little bit of vintage post, do so now! Over the next few weeks i will show you bits and pieces i picked up! The will amaze you!
