The Cult Of The Skull

So I'm guessing it's evident by now that I love skulls! After all, I have been blogging for 2 years this coming Monday (HOLY SHIT) and I haven't exactly kept quiet about my obsession fascination with them.

I received this little "Book of Skulls" By Faye Dowling for my birthday two weeks ago! This book features the most revered icon of our time and shows how it has evolved throughout history - from it's religious/ spiritual origins to today's contemporary society, where it is a regonisable symbol in the worlds of fashion, music, art and popular culture. I just love how it has been repurposed over the years!

Beanie

My bestfriend was up at 4:30am, flew home to the GC, came and met me for a herbal tea breakfast and has allowed be to babysit her camera! So not only did she zombie drive to my house on 3 hours sleep, she trusts me with her camera (knowing full well I just broke my own). Now that's dedication to our friendship.

6 MONTHS OLD

I can now appreciate how new parents feel when they say "the last six months of blah-blah's life has gone so fast"! Our new store may not be walking or teething yet - but it sure has come a long way in the first six months of business (And it is all very exciting)!
