Christmas Holidays
Packing is one of the funnest yet hardest things to do. I never know what to pack when I go away. I usually never plan outfits 'til just before I get dressed in the morning. How I dress reflects my mood for that day - so when I'm away for two and a half weeks, it's near impossible to think up outfits for that entire time. No wonder my luggage is always busting at the seams.
Here's some of the things I packed.
1. Element Eden handbag courtesy of Element Eden team and Vintage clutch
2. Note pad, book and KW jewellery
3. Sportsgirl overnight bag to pack all GHD, make-up and other bits and pieces in to keep it separate from my clothes, vintage necklace and House of Harlow sunglasses
4. Leopard belt via General Pants, Black belt via Myer, Paw Paw, Nail polish and a few rings
5. Bettina Liano shorts (how cute is the scalloped hem) MinkPink Raglan, Wrangler shirt and Element Tee courtesy of Element Eden. This is just a couple of things. So much more was packed! Ha ha.
I may not be able to post as reg as I'd like - but I will have a lot of photos to share when I get back!
MERRY CHRISTMAS! HAVE AN AWESOME BREAK!
LOVE ALLY

WHO KILLED BAMBI | THE VILLAGE MARKETS | DECEMBER
Today marked our debut at THE VILLAGE MARKETS. It was so much fun to meet our customers in person and have a little chat to them! It was such a busy day - a lot of people were doing last minute Christmas shopping! My friend Harri and I shared marquees - she was selling her gorgeous Vintage candles, which you can find here.
All our dress and jewellery were a hit! A lot of gorgeous pieces of never before see stock went to new homes. I really enjoyed seeing how my customers styled themselves before I sold them something new. I could then see how they would wear the piece/s they had chosen! I love that about vintage - the story behind the items just continue to grow.
Here are some quick photos I took through out the day of WHO KILLED BAMBI and SOY CHAI LATTE stall!
I already can't wait for the next one! Hope you've all had a good weekend!
Three days til I go away for Christmas! I can't wait!

PASTEL PINK
I went to get my regrowth done today so I was all fresh for Holidays...
If you follow me on twitter, then you will probably know that I am FOREVER changing my mind about my hair. I'm sure you're sick of it, I'm sick of it and my boyfriend is sure hell sick of me always saying "should I grow my hair" or "what colour suits me more" or "blah blah, colour, blah blah, cut". So impulsively I went pink today. I went to see my friend Carly (superstar) from NV hair on the Gold Coast. I don't think I would have trusted anyone else to put a colour in my hair. This colour will last about a month and after then it will fade back to blonde. And 'cos I'm on break as of next week it won't matter that I have pink hair as I won't have any modeling jobs til next year! Win!
Happy Thursday (again)!

The flatform
I was looking at these in Wittner on Tuesday morning and about an hour later I went back to try them on and then obviously bought them...I am so glad that I did as they're so comfortable and add a little bit of fun and colour to any outfit!
Anyone who knows me personally would know that I'm tall and I don't need to wear really high heels all the time, so these flatforms are great for me. They add not too much height, so I can wear them ALL the time!
Have a rad Thursday! Ally

LILYA AW12 | ELEMENTAL
Photos: Jonathan Hayward | Model: Ally Carey
I shot for Lilya a few months ago and now I can finally release the photos! I love all the pieces from Lilya's AW12 Elemental range. It was hard not to fall in love with each piece. The coats are so fluffy and warm, as are the knits. I felt like curling up in front of a open wood fire when we shot these - except the 34 degree heat kind of ruined that train of thought.
You can keep up to date with the Lilya facebook here and look through all the Lilya collections here
A big thank you to Lisa (the brains and beauty behind Lilya) for being so awesome! :-)

In Bloom
I thought I would share some beauty products I picked up today. I have been so uninspired by nail colours lately. I wish I could just make all of my own! I mix colours together but it only ever makes enough for that one time. I'm talking about making my own and having a bottle full of it. Maybe I should write to O.P.I and tell them what colours I have in mind and where they are in fact going wrong with their colour selections. Haa.
So anyway, I found another Bloom colour from the same range as my "barcelona" one. You know the fluro pink I have been wearing? The purple one I have on in the bottom photo is just as awesome and bright as it. It is called "Charlie". What makes it even better though is David Jones are currently giving away a little Bloom goodie bag along with any Bloom purchase. So along with my "Big Apple red" and "Charlie", I scored a free make up bag (not featured), an eye lasher curler, Mascara and a lip gloss.
I am normally pretty dismissive of free goodies as it's normally pretty crappy things involved or the colours that they give you are just horrible and not even your 85 year old Grandma would wear it to your brother's wedding. But, I am pretty damn stoked. I have been meaning to replace my curler for months and I was out to buy a mascara anyway.
Have a good night guys! I have some photos to share with you tomorrow! A shoot I did with Lilya (AW12).
