The Village Markets May

A little photo diary of our pop-up stall at The Village Markets on the Gold Coast!

What a blast today was! It was so busy, all our stock went flying out the non-existent door! I think the mighty fine sunshine played a very big part in that! Our besties Soy Chai Latte had an awesome day too - but that is a given as all their candles are DIVINE!

If you missed out on our pop up stall never fear as we'll probably be at the one in a months time or you can find us online: www.whokilledbambi.co

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

WHO KILLED BAMBI | THE VILLAGE MARKETS | DECEMBER

Today marked our debut at THE VILLAGE MARKETS. It was so much fun to meet our customers in person and have a little chat to them! It was such a busy day - a lot of people were doing last minute Christmas shopping! My friend Harri and I shared marquees - she was selling her gorgeous Vintage candles, which you can find here.

All our dress and jewellery were a hit! A lot of gorgeous pieces of never before see stock went to new homes. I really enjoyed seeing how my customers styled themselves before I sold them something new. I could then see how they would wear the piece/s they had chosen! I love that about vintage - the story behind the items just continue to grow.

Here are some quick photos I took through out the day of WHO KILLED BAMBI and SOY CHAI LATTE stall!

I already can't wait for the next one! Hope you've all had a good weekend!

Three days til I go away for Christmas! I can't wait!

Shoot, shoot. Bang, Bang.

Photos: Joel Stafford

Heya! Happy Hump Day!

I thought I'd share a little candid shoot I did for the lovely Sarah and Marissa of The Village Markets! It was such a fun morning shooting. We all grin and bared the sweltering heat - that seemed to be the last time I saw any evidence of summer. It has been horrible, horrible weather lately! I even wore a leather jacket today!

These photos will be used as TVM's advertising on Flyers, banners, posters and other media!

In other TVM news: WHO KILLED BAMBI will be popping it's market cherry on the 18th of December at TVM! Everything we will be selling is never before seen stock - so please come down and say hello, we'd love to meet you! TVM takes place at Burleigh Heads State School Oval
Lower Gold Coast Highway Burleigh Heads QLD 4220, every first and third Sunday of the month between 8-1pm!

Hope to see you there!

village markets- May

The early bird catches the worm - so they say. We were up early to catch some morning sun, grab a bite to eat and a strong coffee,  go for a little walk, and take a look through the much loved Village Markets. The turn out today was absolutely fantastic. The gorgeous sunny weather probably had something to do with it. As I have mentioned quite a few times previously, it's normally raining every Village Market Sunday, so it was really nice to walk around without an umbrella in hand for a change. I picked up two rad pieces that I will do outfit posts on later this week. I love them. And I love that I only spent $25.00 and I now have two very unique garments that noone else I know would own.

There was so many stalls to swoon over this time. A lot of ridiculously cool jewellery and of course one off dresses and a couple of new stalls I hadn't seen there before. I really enjoy seeing new up and coming designers showcasing their designs at the Markets. It's a good way for them to get in touch with the people they are selling to. It's just a little more personal than buying from their online stores.

I quickly caught up with Asha (designer of Calabash) on the way to the markets. We have something cool to show you in the coming months! So keep posted. Check out her facebook for updates in stock etc.

Thank you all for letting me take some snaps of your stalls.
