Bec Parsons.

I am going to take my time and talk about the person behind the beautiful images.

It's been bought to my attention that Bec Parsons is one of Australia's most accomplished fashion photographers. Namely because, she is constantly contributings to top fashion magazines such as Russh, Yen and Oyster and also shooting many large advertisement campaigns. Her images are constantly over any fashion blog i read, i almost find her work hard to escape!  Bec is seriously a jack of all trades. She also has a self-published zine called. LOVEWANT, a bi-annual publication that is accumulating some serious attention. Definitely check it out!

I didn't make the connection between three of my favourite editorials of late, until i did my research. There's no point posting the entire editorials, as you all have seen them. I am just pointing out that i think her work is magical.

She has a blog also, however i am unsure how regularly she updates it.

WHAT A DAY!

We strutted our stuff today, in front of the directors panel, fashion designers and industry peers at the annual Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival casting today. Over 300 girls and boys showcased their walks in hope to score shows in next months Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival. Here's a few pics from the official MBFF website, all taken by none other than Ian Golding. We were expecting it to take as long as last year to cast. But, it was over and done before we knew it! Well for my group anyway. There were still people casting at 1pm (we left at 11am). MBFF was a lot of fun last year. It's such an awesome experience.

I missed out on posting yesterday, as i was far too tired! Yesterday was a busy day!

Yesterday eleven other models and i were involved in a cute parade in celebration of Miss June Dally Watkins 60 years in the industry! We showcased leading designers at Versace, on the Gold Coast. Early call time meant a very tired girl by 6 last night! My hair-do when teamed with my leather jacket, looked as though i was channeling Olivia Newton John in Grease. But i loved my curls! I don't often wear my hair curly, so it was a nice change! I also like the curls held. It meant i didn't have to worry about doing my hair before i had a casting later in the day! Score!

Very excited it's my weekend already! I am relaxing and planning an outfit shoot! I bought an animal print dress when I was op-shopping last weekend, that i need to tailor! It's far too big... I didn't look at the size, i just loved the material. It wasn't 'til i got it home i saw the size (size 22, just a little bit big!!) So i have a few projects today. The rest of my weekend will be spent hanging out with friends and my boyfriend! I am going bowling tomorrow night. I like to think i am really good at bowling, but the truth is i am absolutely terrible. Bowling is definitely not my forte.
