See my vest, see my vest! I made a little vest today. I fell in love with the material. The roses are so cute. From a distance it just looks like a black vest. However, up close you can see the delicate pattern. I made the pattern myself. It's a larger fit, but that's what i was going for. I love it over over sized tees. What do you think?

Woolen goodness! My mum knitted me the coolest over sized cardigan. Gotta love her and her knitting skills. She did teach me once...I think the scarf i was knitting ended up VERY holey.  I seemed to have dropped a lot of stitches. Best to leave it up to the professionals. I love cardigans. I always buy them one size bigger than I'd normally get. It's nice to have one made with love though. You can't beat that.

We cannot wish for what we know not.

I am more tired then when i went away! I didn't think that was possible, but somehow i am. I am glad to be home ( my holiday was very good though). Nothing beats your own bed after nights in an unfamiliar room. And nothing beats your own shower. So good. Back to reality.


My camera is currently M.I.A, not really, it's with my boyfriend today. He has custody of it. I thought i would post pictures of certain goods i would like to purchase. After work today, i thought I'd tease myself and look at my favourite online stores. Window shopping online is worse than actual window shopping because you always find unique accessories that people you know don't have or you find the shoes you have been drooling over for weeks and you just continue to drool. Drooling over my favourite shoes and accessories is what i do best at the moment. I wish i was a heiress to a multimillion dollar company just so i could fix my shopping addiction and buy everything i have ever dreamed of. I figure that would also fix my drooling habit too.

Holidaying girl.

Where to start...Vampire Weekend were amazing live, even better than i anticipated. I was excited all day, but being there watching them was an entire different feeling.  "Giving up the gun", "Oxford Comma" and the auto tuned "california English" were by far the best songs of the night.  The boys from Vampire Weekend are extremely talented. Ahhh, i have been listening to them all morning. I want to go again! I love their new tunes, but i am a big fan of their old music too.

We didn't make it to see Cloud Control, because i got us lost! But, there's always next time! Thank you brother dearest for getting us on the guest list. You are zee best!


Verdict: 10 out of 10. I have made a pact to see more live music.

You and me have seen everything to see.

I drew these using my drawing tablet skills. I like the rough outlines, i think it adds a little something to the drawings. I chose to draw my favourite sneakers, my favourite boots and my favourite jumper i have made. I live in my boots. They go with everything, so that's a bonus. They are my winter staple. I am still trying to decide what to wear to Vampire Weekend tonight. My boots may have to be worn, it's a bit hard to say no to them.

Sneakers. For sneaking.

Chuck Taylor made them cool, therefore i had to go and buy them. Not really. I have wanted some converse sneaker for years and never actually purchased them until last weekend. I love them. They're so comfortable, which makes me wish i had have purchased them earlier. I feel so cool in them, like i could be a rock star, but this would mean i'd need some musical ability, and this i do not have. I think it skipped me. My eldest sister, my brother and my other sister are all musical...My theory as to why i am not musical is, i couldn't concentrate longer than five minutes as a child, and i'm pretty sure it takes longer than that to learn the piano or the guitar. I'm not like that now, which is a bonus.

I haven't owned a pair of converse shoes since i was in year 9! We used to call them "Connies", and all the girls had them. We rebelled and wore them with our school dresses. In hindsight, maybe we weren't cool.
