I fly like paper

A little vintage find. So bloody comfy and soft. I feel as if I should be in Hawaii enjoying a cocktail by the beach or pool and wearing a coconut bra when I see them on their own. But when they're teamed with the right top and jacket and killer heels they look super rad. I will snap some pics over the weekend! I just haven't had any spare time this week to get outfit photos! Sorry about the neglect guys.

Good news: We got the apartment! Ahh, so excited it's a joke. We move at the end of May. I hate moving and cleaning the old apartment is the pits...

I'm gonna go late night shopping tonight to find a dress for a wedding I am going to on Saturday. I never normally leave outfits to the last minute - but like i said I've been busy all week :( I hope I find something cute! Then we have some friends/ family coming to stay tonight as well! So this weekend is going to be exciting!!!!

we won't run, we won't run.

For the past few weeks all I have wanted to do is get all cozy in my winter layers, rug up and drink hot tea, because the weather has been nothing but drab. However, the weather over the long weekend had other plans for how I dressed. It was such amazing weather!! This is one of the things I picked up from the markets yesterday. HOW RAD ARE MY NEW VINTAGE SWIMMERS? At only $10 - I would have been one silly girl not to buy them.

The cut is super cute. A little bit higher than my other swimmers and I think I'll be prone to wedgies when I wear them but all that is forgiven as I love the little fine string detailing on the side and the colourful pattern (which sort of looks like something my five year old niece would paint).

I was worried taking photos in a bikini on a beach would end up looking a little too cliched/ mens magazine-ish. But, thank god I was in good hands and they turned out awesome (thanks to J). It was kind of a last minute decision to hop in the car and shoot these, but I am so glad we did as the sunset was stunning. One of the best I have seen in a long time!

So as my brain has switched into winter mode, hopefully summer had finally done it's dash because I really want to continue to rug up and sip on hot tea. I think I am finally ready to pack my denim cut offs away and shop for some winter goods.

village markets- May

The early bird catches the worm - so they say. We were up early to catch some morning sun, grab a bite to eat and a strong coffee,  go for a little walk, and take a look through the much loved Village Markets. The turn out today was absolutely fantastic. The gorgeous sunny weather probably had something to do with it. As I have mentioned quite a few times previously, it's normally raining every Village Market Sunday, so it was really nice to walk around without an umbrella in hand for a change. I picked up two rad pieces that I will do outfit posts on later this week. I love them. And I love that I only spent $25.00 and I now have two very unique garments that noone else I know would own.

There was so many stalls to swoon over this time. A lot of ridiculously cool jewellery and of course one off dresses and a couple of new stalls I hadn't seen there before. I really enjoy seeing new up and coming designers showcasing their designs at the Markets. It's a good way for them to get in touch with the people they are selling to. It's just a little more personal than buying from their online stores.

I quickly caught up with Asha (designer of Calabash) on the way to the markets. We have something cool to show you in the coming months! So keep posted. Check out her facebook for updates in stock etc.

Thank you all for letting me take some snaps of your stalls.

That's what you want.

Leopard and lace. How could I refuse? I've loved Elle Macpherson bras ever since my sister gave me one in 2006.

blow your speakers

Good Morning! Last day of the long weekend. Noooo! At least the weather is semi-good! Hopefully no black clouds roll over like yesterday. Though it worked to my favor with these photos. I don't really have much planned for today. I just want to take it as it comes. What do you have planned?

I had so much fun taking these. Keep in mind we don't normally hang out in abandoned car parks. I thought being there on a public holiday no one would be there. But when we were there we had a little audience of cars. They must have thought we were up to something really bizarre when I was jumping up and down on the spot. Jonathan went for a skate after we finished - and I took some really cool shots of him. I'll share them with you another day.

(Leopard pants from a boutique, vintage fur coat, Docs, Vintage clutch, Jonathan's tee, accessories made by me, sportsgirl ring)

I am off to have some fun whilst probably still eating loads of chocolate.
