Jonathan took these photos this afternoon as the sunset was just too magical to miss. I opened them up in Photoshop to re-size them and I was taken aback by how awesome they were. There is no enhancements whatsoever. We love our new Canon 5D Mark II so much! Such a great investment, that's for sure

Bow Tie

Here's some snaps of me looking all smart n' stuff in my bow tie. Charlie Chaplin would be so jealous right now.

Have a rad weekend! I had a massive day working (shooting). The photographer was lovely and the clothing the stylist pulled was so pretty. But way too hot for today's heat. I went out for tapas and wine tonight and am just about to watch movies but I wanted to do a really quick post cos I've been slack lately!

A few of my favourites

My favourites lately

1. Studded Wallet/ sling bag: I love that it can be a wallet/ cluth/ bag all in one.
2. Lipton Rasberry, Cranberry and strawberry: So, so yummy. It's tough to choose my favourite tea. I don't think I could do it.
3. Three go to lipglosses: Australis Colour inject in Disco, Savvy lip jewels in Topaz and a Revlon lip plumping one that I have used so much the label has worn off.
4. Bobby Brown powder in Sunny Beige: I swear by this powder. It is so long lasting. I only need to apply it in the morning and I am good for the rest of the day.
5. OPI nail polish in Onyx: I love nail polish in every single colour, but black is my all time favourite.
6. Napoleon Eye Patrol in Private garden: Perfect green for my brown eyes.
7. MAC eyeshadow in Carbon: I use this as an eyeliner as well as a shadow. It's longer wearing than my gel eyeliner and doesn't smudge as easy. Just set it with a sweep of powder and you're good to go.
8. Cute earrings: I am wearing these tomorrow for the wedding
9. Ray Bans: I would go blind without these.
10.  iPhone and iPad: Everyone always jokes that Jonathan and I live in an Apple factory 'cos we have so many Apple products. Hanging out for a new iPhone though. My one has seen better days.
11. Knitted phone cover: My mum knitted this. It's so adorable.

better than heaven

So, I'm pretty damn stoked for several reasons, but this one has definitely got to be in the top 3. Seriously. I was about to buy the One Teaspoon hot pink bralet (you've probably all seen it in their new AW collection), but I was thinking maybe $40 for a little piece of lace was a little bit more than I wanted to spend. So I held off knowing I was going to find something cute, cheap and awesome- and that I did. I stumbled across this little Loveable number in David Jones yesterday for only $6. I LOVE IT. It's the exact colour I wanted, the fit is perfect and I love it even more because I saved $34. I can definitely say I am obsessed with fluro bralets at the moment. I think they're an awesome way to add a little bit of fun to my autumn wardrobe.

Down by the water

Couple of photos taken over zee weekend. We went for a little road trip on Saturday arvo, frolicked on the beach, I made a little shell necklace (It's wicked) and then ate the BEST Thai food ever. Seriously good stuff. I'm a bit of a fiend for cashew chicken, enjoyed a glass/ bottle of vino and just kicked back.

And we both know hearts can change.

If i only had one word to sum up my weekend, i would simply say "outstanding". Mainly because i got to do everything i wanted to do and it was super weather to do it in! I can't believe we got two days of perfect sunshine. That in itself was enough to make my weekend outstanding even before any activities took place. Here's a summary in 25 words or possibly more, I'm not totally sure.

We went on a walk, had breakfast out, drank coffee, drank vino, went shopping, drank more coffee. Today i went to the village markets (Burleigh Heads) and looked through all the vintage stalls. Such cute set ups. All the stall owners go to so much effort to make theirs stand out from everyone else. There were a few things i absolutely adored, but didn't purchase them. We got there late (near closing), and i figured if they weren't sold then they'll be there next time! We had a quiet weekend but it was lots of fun! Today i felt like making some gloves (featured in the photos above). I bought some studs a while ago and thought that gloves with studs on the knuckles would be so cute. What do you think of them?

Currently listening to November Rain by Guns N Roses. Funnily enough, this little blog was nearly called "NOVEMBER RAIN". But, i decided "UNKNOWN PLEASURES", based on a Joy Division album had a nicer ring to it! So there you go. Now you know all the facts! I hope you feel special.
