My friend and designer of label East of Grey (Kim Bailey) has an article published about her and her label in the recent issue of RBM magazine! Super proud of her- She going to go a long way with her cutting edge designs. Yours truly made an appearance in it as well. Kim came over yesterday and delivered the most beautiful dress for me to wear on my birthday...Oh and she came over with a full rolly rack of East of Grey clothes for me to choose from for me to borrow. She is the loveliest girl!!!

oh you, old thing

So when I was in the antique shop today I went a little crazy when I saw this bad boy. The rug and the skull are awesomely perfect together. Would it be weird to ask for both as a birthday present?

Friend: "Ally, what did you get for your 21st?"
Me: "A dead animals skull..."
Friend: "No, but, really..."

all i need

I have a phobia of feet. They really, really freak me out. I'm not 100% sure why- all I know is I have always had this phobia. That aside...How damn cute are my Sportgirl socks? I love them because they're mustard and because they have little Bambi's on them. You too can have cosy feet this A/W, click here to get your hands on some $12.95 socks. I am going to be wearing these with ankle boots and brogues this winter!

I wish I had wooden floors so I could slide around on them in these sockies.

part 1, photo diary

Oh what a night.

Hung over to say the least.  These are photos of the people who made my night so special
(somehow my friend Amy's boyfriend managed to get out of a photo). As you probably can gather it's my 21st coming up on the 25th of this month...I celebrated this weekend as I am going away for my actual birthday! We celebrated at a yummy Thai restaurant in Byron Bay and drank copious amounts of wine and beer. Then we headed to the Beach hotel for more drinks! Such an awesome night! All us girls were lucky we had drivers :-) and I am so glad the horrible rain eased off! On the drive down it was so heavy, so i was scared it was going to throw salt in our game...But it didn't!

So today I am doing absolutely nothing- except probably feeling sorry for myself while i nurse this hangover. Ahhhhhh! I love birthdays!

The fire still burns

My two best friends came knocking/ buzzing on my door this morning with early birthday gifts! I now am a mummy to two new fishies called Harri and Emma (named after the girls of course). They are ridiculously cute and now our other fish Ralph has some buddies to blow bubbles with. They also gave me this AWESOME Mimco bracelet- they know me way to well. The shop assistant asked if she could help them and they said "Ally is hard to buy for but when we see something that's her we'll definitely know..." I am so in love with my bracelet! The funny thing is I saw it at Xmas but didn't buy it- But they didn't know that til now.

They're the greatest girls and i'm so lucky to have them as friends! Can't wait for dinner and drinks tonight! Ah, i have butterflies I'm so excited.
